Quality Means Attention to Detail

In every industry, quality is essential to success. Everything that we produce for our clients functions as a part of a bigger piece and must conform to strict tolerances and precise specifications. When we produce a part, quality is our number one priority. Each hole should align properly, welds should be accounted for and the piece should fit together perfectly with its mate. At Jones Metal, precision is paramount. It must be, because the overall quality of a completed product is easily compromised from the smallest component oversight.

The Jones Metal Difference:

Attention to detail and quality go hand in hand when it comes to parts manufacturing and hydroforming. At Jones Metal Products Company, we understand the importance of quality in the manufacturing process and work with our customers to ensure that their unique specifications are met, scrap material produced is minimal and quality parts are delivered on time.

Creating Quality Parts

At Jones Metal, our hydroforming processes can accommodate blanks up to 32.5 inches to form parts with depths up to 14 inches and diameters to 27 inches. We also operate at forming pressures up to 10,000 psi, tackling material gauges up to 3/8 inches (steel) and 1 inch (aluminum). We have deep experience working with many varieties of metals, including stainless steel, brass, copper, lead and titanium; plus a variety of clad metals and state-of-the art alloys including hastelloys, inconels, cobalt and nickel alloys.

Reducing Scrap Material

Quality is also about being conscious of the materials used in the manufacturing process. During our parts manufacturing process, we strive to produce as little scrap material as possible. Consistently, our scrap levels have been below 2 percent of our sales, a number well below others in our industry.

Delivering on Time

Our on-time delivery averages 98 percent, a measure that we track daily and which is benchmarked against the performance of other metal stampers and formers participating in annual studies of the Precision Metalforming Association.

Quality Benefits the Customer:

We understand that our dedication to quality part production benefits both our reputation, and our customers’. Thanks to our certifications, rankings and reputation, our customers know from the start that we will produce quality parts while also helping them save time, energy and expense.
