Operators Training

How Jones Metal Operators Are Trained

Eric Dennis: Operators learn the trade at Jones Metal based on an apprenticeship program. We offer any new openings in the tool room to our employees that are currently working at Jones Metal, and if they pass the required test, they can be invited to come to the tool room. But, we have an 8,000-hour program that teaches the new employees all the machines, all the processes, then by the end of that 8,000-hours, we hope to achieve them knowing how to operate every piece of equipment we have.
