Eric Dennis: The tool room assists the hydroform in other ways besides making tools: one of the ways is repairs. Being moving equipment, moving machinery, breakdowns happen. Parts break, pieces break, and the tool room is there. It’s a main ejective to fix what’s broken. A hydroform goes down, it needs a shaft made, it needs a keyway turned, whatever the hydroform needs to keep running, that’s one of our main focuses. Some of the other ways is we have a very well working knowledge of the tools we make, so during a part development process, we’re there to help with changes as they need made to make the part process. And then lastly, finishing process. Almost all the parts we make here go through a finish process, whether it be trimming a flange, adding holes, and mostly, the tool room does all of that.
